The idea of collaboration is not unfamiliar in the world of Taekwon-Do – where organizations around the globe come together in making various International and Continental championships a success. Our aspirations are however beyond this traditional model.

In the Persekutuan Taekwon-Do Malaysia (PTM), we envisage a setting where people from different organizations sharing the common goal of promulgating the art of Taekwon-Do can come together and promote this dream under the same flag. We are not restricting ourselves to event-limited collaborations – rather, it is a mid to long term project where we collaborate in various aspects of Taekwon-Do in a holistic manner.

The term ‘collaboration’ also connotes working together without compromising on the flexibility on our partners – since we value autonomy as much as we value diversity.

It is therefore my fondest wish to witness more moments where combined efforts become greater than the sum of all parts.
